We went to exachange gifts at my dads house before going to see our own grandkids. Their house is always very festive. Linda is quite the decorator. Upstairs is one color and theme, and the dowstairs is another.

I was excited to see D playing with the Dinosaur that we got him. He had sooooooomany toys already.

It is just about impossible to get a picture with A.J. and his eyes open. But he's still cute!!!

A.J. was so cute and tried to open his present himself. Bob calls him Mr. Magoo.

Chelsea loves to sit and watch A.J. and laugh at him, and he always laughs back.

Brianna was showing A.J. the Penguin that we bought for him. It has little balls in it and he kept trying to grab for them and got really frustrated trying to figure out why he couldn't pick them up. They were inside the middle of the penguin.

Like i said, here is another one and yep, his eyes are closed LOL!!!!

This year we did our annual Christmas Eve Party a couple of days early because Natalie and Travis had to leave early to go back to St. George. Hata and Sandy had alot of attention that night.
Natalie was so surprised! Mom and Lewis bought her tickets to see Chris Angel and the Luxor in Las Vegas. Her and Travis are very big "freak" fans.

Every year my mom buys us matching P.J's (me, her, Brandie and Natalie)this year they had very cute snowmen on them. Very Festive!!!

Aunt Natalie and Uncle Travis bought Lexi a little bake oven for her to make us all treats :)

Oh we had so much fun! Right there in the middle of us all is my teacher Mrs. Debbie.
This is my friend Bailee sitting on Santa's lap.

We sang so many songs. And our other teacher Ms. Aubrey taught us how to do sign language, so we showed Santa what we had learned and sang and signed Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer. It was so much fun and he was sooooo impressed !!! :)

It was finally my turn! I waited and waited so patiently while all the kids got to go up and get a gift from Santa. I almost thought that he forgot me, then he called my name. YEAH!!!

A great 2008 Football Season

Bingham Football
We had an awesome experience this year with Christian's football team going 12-0. And winning State in his division. He had a awesome coaching staff this year, team mom, and a great group of kids to play with.
After taking state our team had the awesome experience of getting to play in a tournament at Rio Tinto Stadium(home field for the Salt Lake Real soccer team). They had so much fun and it was so fun seeing them play on that field.

I had the chance to go spend a weekend in Phoenix with some special friends. It was a short vistit but it was fun. Above are a couple of pictures of Carrie and her husband Ponce. This girl is so funny to be around. She and Ponce are a very cute couple.

These above pictures are of some artsy fartsy things we stopped and saw on the way to Sonoma where we shopped and walked around and had lunch. It was a very interesting lunch because my two friends seemed to be hallucination through the entire lunch. I think it was the ice tea they were drinking!!!

Sonoma reminded me "alot" of southern Utah. Alot of Red Rock and beautiful landscapes. We were quite amazed to find on a light pole in the middle of town a defibulator. We got quite a laugh about that one.

Deondre and Aj had a sleep over it was a blast! Aj is more mellow than his brother!

He likes to be held and walk arounded and never go's to sleep(he actually was sick and could not breathe) Deondre he likes to punch and fight with any one. We tried to feed AJ plumbs, nope! He was not goiong for that.

He likes bottles. Well, a couple ouncesat a time any way. In the end It was alot of fun!!!! It was nice to get to spend time with them.

Chelsea finally decided she wanted to move downstairs. Kaitlyn helped her get everything moved. We finally decided (well I did) to do a polk a dot border around her room to match her bedding. At first i thought it was going to be a little much, but it looks really cute and her and Kaitlyn added their own touch with the work dance across some of the dots.

Well, the next two weeks following the shower was hectic. With Natalie in St. George and us up here, we were scrambling to get everthing together and figure out how to get it all down to "The Ranch". I was in charge of all the decorations, and misc. findings(dishes, silverware) and anything else my mom dreamed up that we needed to have. She even left a day ahead of me and she called at least 3 times after she left and was still calling me on Friday as i was trying to get ready to leave to stop and pick up things on my way. But it all turned out great. Well, except for that the bride and groom were stranded in Cedar City with a broken down truck, and no way to haul half of their stuff. So of course the softy that i am, and that fact that i was the last one to be on our way down, we detoured and went to save the day. We drove to Cedar and picked up poor Natalie that had been sitting at her finacee's ex-wifes house for 3 hrs. waiting for us to save her. We shoved and moved and eventually got all the stuff in the tahoe along with all the crap i already had, and off we went for another 4 hr drive to "The Ranch".
It all worked out. It was hot. But it all went well and was beautiful. She got married in the middle of a field under some trees and did something called the 10 steps around a bon fire, and each shared their thoughts and dreams and promises to each other. It was great. The pictures say nothing compared to being there and see all the beauty around us.

The next event at my house(yes my house was popular this year) was a bridal shower for my baby sister Natalie. YEA!!!!! She finally was getting married. It was really fun. We had around 32 people fill my home, lots of family and friends. It was great to see alot of people that i had not seen in a long time. Her long time friends Shauna and Nicole came(and Nicole brought her two beautiful twin baby girls). Shauna was gracious enought to help out and was in charge of the games and keeping everyone entertained. Natalie looked so cute and was so appreciative to us all. She got tons of very nice gifts from eveyone.

The next even at our house was Lexi's 5th Birthday party. She invited all her friend, Bailee, Sohpie,Kendra,Randy,and Brinlee. They got to make their own special Princess crowns with the help of Sophies mom Ashi. Then we all got to dress up in our favorite priness attire and then a special guest came "Snow White"! the girls were all so excited! She sat and told us stories and played games and dance and sang songs. The she put special princess make up on us all. It was so much fun.

Holy Cow!! I cannot believe it is June almost July! And i have not update our blog since March. I am so embarassed. We are leaving in 2 days for a family outing to Lake Powell. I will have to take some time when we get back and get things up to date. Hope everyone is having a great summer :)

In April Chelsea and Kaitlyn will have two more competitions. One is St. George and Nationals at Taylorsville High. They then will have another one at Lagoon in May, which also at the Lagoon one Lexi will also get to compete! We will keep you updated on those :)

Happy Easter Everyone!

We first started the long weekend by going to St. George/Mesquite for Baseball March Madness. Unfortunately we went 1-3. But at least we won one! We came home Saturday and we went to Grandma Marsha's for breakfast and a easter egg hunt.
We go to see alot of family and friends that we haven't seen in a while. The first picture is of my Aunt Sharon, my cousin Patrice, her so Triston and her friend.
Next we had the East Egg hunt. Grandma really gets into this! First she let all the little kids from 0 to 5 go out first and they had 2 minute to find as many eggs as they can. Then the next group 6 to 11, and then the 3 oldest, which yes includes Christian, who also this year found the golden egg! It had stickers in it and a 10.00 bill! Grandma also has a egg drop for prizes. She gives each kid 2 boiled eggs and paper and a bag and your suppose to wrap your eggs the best you can and put them in a bag. And then as you can see Bob was the nominee this year to stand up on the ladder and drop the bags one by one. If your eggs didn't crack or break you won a prize!

We had out first Dance and Cheerleading Competition. Chelsea took first in her Jazz Dance routine and her Cheerleading Routine. She had worked very hard. Even though she trys to play the shy act, when she gets out on the floor she does awesome!! This is a picture of Kaitly and Uncle Marlon with us also at the competition. She also dances and does cheer. She is very good!!
I was finally able after 10 tries, to get Chelsea to smile for a picture for me. Bratt!!!! She makes a very cute Cheerleader!

Presidents Day Weekend

We just got back from St. George. What a gorgeous warm weekend. Well, not really warm, but 62 degrees is heaven compared to 40's in Salt Lake. We stayed down there from Friday to Monday. Christina had two games on Saturday, they went 1-1. They won the first one of the day and lost the second one. Natalie and Travis came to watch the second game(and brave the cold) then had two games on Sunday, and that did not go as well, 0-2. Uncle Marlon, Aunt Christy and Kaitly came and watched the first game, they were down there also because Nick had a baseball camp in Mesquite all weekend. I think our second game on Sunday was crazy...they must feed steroids to those boys in Minnesota because they all were about 6 inches taller than our boys, and had alot of facial hair! Scary. Natqalie and Travis came to that one too. But all in all for the first tournament as a warm up, i think they will do much better in the March Madness Tournament over Easter weekend, keep up the hard work C.J!!!

Well, this is a picture from last year but, we are back in the swing of things. Christian tried out for two super league teams and made both of them. He chose to go with the Screwballs. Yes, that is the name of the team. We are very excited for him and really think he will improve his skills and have a blast with this team. Our first tournament is next weekend, Presidents weekend, so we will be heading to St. George for a long weekend. I wish it was going to be a little warmer but, maybe for March Madness. Here is a picture of our dog Maggie. She is approximately 8 years old. We love Maggie, but Bob says as soon as she "passes on" we are not getting any more animals. Yeah, right. All those girls have to do is bat their little eye lashes and whine a little and i am sure we will have something else to take care of. Not that we don't love our Maggster. She is an awesome dog. A little gassey these days but i think she just tries to mimic Bob LOL

Bob and I love to go to the NASCAR races. This is us last October in Vegas for the NASCAR Truck Race. We went down with Marlon and Christy for the second year. We had pit passes and were able to go in and out pretty much as we pleased. Here we are watching the end of the race right in the middle of the track. Gotta Love It!!!

The girls love riding in the tube. It is quite entertaining watching them bounce around. Of course when Lexi gets in we have to go extra slow, but when Chelsea and Taylor are riding, there is no speed limit! But they tend to hang on with their lives, especially with Bob driving the boat.

We all enjoy riding the 4-wheelers. Especially Chelsea! Every minute that were out she has to be on that thing. She did take a minute out to give Lexi a little ride. Lexi likes to go on rides but i think she gets a little nervous with Chelsea since she tends to have a sticky finger on the throttle LOL! :) Love ya Chels.

Family Vacation/Baseball

We just got back from Cooperstown, New York. Christian played in a tournament there for 7 days. It was a fun time and we spent a couple of days in New York City seeing the sights. But it is always nice to come home :) Lexi just turned 4!!! We have had to drag her birthday out for the last week since we were in NY on her birthday. Hopefully she does not expect that every year! All else is good with our family. I am just getting started on this blog thing, so hopefully I will have some pictures up soon for you to look at of our family.
